Senior Account Manager

Job Summary
Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of advertisers and/or agency clients in Japan. Act as a strategic advisor, translating client business goals into effective programmatic advertising strategies. Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning and up-selling. Lead regular performance reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning conversations with senior client stakeholders. Partner closely with Sales, Trading, Product, and regional/global teams to deliver best-in-class client outcomes. Provide feedback from clients and the local market to influence product and commercial strategy. Mentor or support more junior team members as a senior individual contributor.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of online advertising experience
- 3+ years of client-facing experience
- Sales background and experience is a strong plus
- Expertise in working with RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is a plus
- Experience managing programmatic advertising and digital marketing campaigns
- Solid experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets
- Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Proven track record of growing accounts by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies
- Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Must speak fluent English and Japanese
