Senior Account Manager, Small Plastics

Job Summary
Lead commercial growth for Greif’s Small Plastics portfolio by managing a complex, high-potential set of accounts. Drive revenue, volume, and margin through disciplined opportunity management, account planning, value selling, and proactive business development. Qualify, propose, and negotiate customer agreements leveraging pricing frameworks to expand margin; forecast results with high accuracy; coordinate plant/site visits, product trials, and technical consultations to accelerate deal cycles. Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure flawless execution; use CRM to monitor pipeline health, risk, and coverage; address service or quality issues and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Map buying centers and expand relationships beyond purchasing into operations and leadership. Champion safety and compliance in all engagements; lead complex negotiations and provide commercial escalation support for key or at-risk accounts. Mentors junior sellers through deal reviews and strategy support. Role requires travel across the assigned territory with near-based presence at a Greif location and a company car provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
- Typically possesses a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
- Experience: 8+ years
- Knowledge in HDPE blow molding of rigid containers
- Familiarity/knowledge in Agricultural Chemical (Crop Protection) market
- CRM proficiency
- Strong negotiation and pricing capability
