Job Summary
Onsite Senior Project Manager (Design) represents the client design team in Chicago, collaborating with Design Lead to translate creative briefs into actionable design and project plans. Leads project management from brief through execution, coordinates with internal/external partners, maintains brand assets, facilitates meetings and presentations, and ensures timely delivery while upholding brand guidelines. Also leads internal PM team activities, mentors project managers, assigns resources, tracks status, and communicates updates to stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in a design/creative agency setting, strong PM skills, ability to influence design strategy, and proficiency with Mac OS and project tools. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office per week subject to client policy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design Management, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 7 years of relevant Creative Project Management experience in a design/creative agency environment required
- Strong project management skills with in-depth hands-on program management and execution experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate, present and influence brand design strategy decisions credibly
- Experience in developing and delivering client-focused solutions based on business needs
- Superior organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work extended schedule as needed
- Proficient using Mac OS and Microsoft products
- Familiarity with creative workflows, asset management systems, and project tracking/routing tools (e.g., Monday.com)
