Job Summary
Senior Account Manager (Walmart), Member Engagement — lead and manage the Walmart ClarusONE relationship, align buy-side and sell-side priorities, drive strategic account planning and quarterly business reviews, oversee performance metrics, and coordinate cross-functional activities to maximize member value and profitability; responsibilities include developing member insights, planning and presenting periodic progress reports, driving operational efficiencies, monitoring financial and commercial performance, and ensuring timely access to information through the ClarusONE Member Portal; requires strong client management, negotiation, strategic thinking, relationship management, data literacy, and willingness to travel internationally. The role collaborates with sourcing teams to evolve procurement strategies and engages with multiple Walmart stakeholders (pharmacy operations, Central Fill, merchant team) to achieve member goals. Education and experience emphasis: Bachelor’s degree with preference for MBA; minimum 8 years in account management/sales/sourcing/business development; pharmaceutical experience preferable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; preference for Masters in Business Administration
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in account management, sales, sourcing, business development or product management
- Pharmaceutical experience preferable
- Knowledge/Skills: key account management, sales or business development experience; strong data literacy; proficiency in MS Excel and/or Access; familiarity with dashboards and large datasets; ability to communicate with management; travel internationally (including to the US); formal training in negotiations and/or demonstrated experience
