Job Summary
Onsite Senior Project Manager (Design) manages design projects for a dedicated client from their Chicago office, partnering with the client Design Lead to understand objectives, review concepts, and ensure the delivery of brand-aligned design solutions. Responsibilities span project management, maintaining assets/toolkits, serving as the primary point of contact, and leading client meetings and reviews. The role also covers internal team leadership, mentorship of Project Managers, and collaboration with Marketing and XF partners to align with brand strategy. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in a fast-paced creative/CPG environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with design workflows, asset management, and common collaboration tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design Management or related field preferred. Salary range: $115,000–$125,000 USD annually; location: Chicago, IL with hybrid in-office requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 7 years of relevant Creative Project Management experience in a design/creative agency environment
- Strong project management skills with hands-on program management in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate, present and influence brand design strategy decisions
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on business needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work extended schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Mac OS and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project-tracking tools
