Senior Account Manager
$75,000–$90,000 year
On-siteColorado, United States
Job Summary
Own senior client relationships by serving as the primary strategic partner for the agency's highest-value accounts, translating complex SEO, AEO, CRO, and paid media work into business narratives for non-technical executives. Lead structured client meetings with clear agendas and documented next steps, while managing expectations around timelines, scope, and channel performance realities. Coordinate work across internal teams to ensure programs run on time, maintaining organized project environments with full visibility into deliverables and risks. Facilitate goal-setting and KPI alignment discussions to tie marketing initiatives to revenue targets, preparing and leading Quarterly Business Reviews that clearly connect performance to client objectives. Identify gaps between client goals and current scope to bring solutions, while maintaining real-time awareness of account health and churn risk. Collaborate with channel leads to identify upsell and expansion opportunities, driving client retention, renewal, and advocacy. This high-visibility role offers direct access to agency leadership and the potential to build and lead the account management function as the agency scales.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in Account Management, Client Strategy, or Client Success within a digital marketing agency
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise or mid-market eCommerce and/or B2B client portfolios
- Enough technical fluency in SEO, paid media, CRO, and analytics to be credible in strategic conversations
- Experience presenting to and building relationships with VP- and C-level stakeholders
- Strong Project Management Instincts: You keep programs organized, on track, and visible without being asked
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: You can write a compelling QBR narrative and lead a room
- Track record of client retention, account growth, and high satisfaction scores
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and how digital marketing integrates with them
- Familiarity with AI-driven search (AEO/GEO) and how the search landscape is evolving
- Experience building or scaling an account management function — not just operating within one
- Comfort with analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, or similar) and using data to tell performance stories
