Senior Account Manager

Job Summary
Drive growth and maximize mid to high net revenue accounts by building credible relationships across customer supply chain departments and leveraging network SMEs for solution development. Manage active opportunity pipelines in CRM, conduct regular business reviews to uncover new growth opportunities, and own account strategy including RFP and award management. Create and manage Account SOPs, navigate difficult conversations with tact, and collaborate with operations and product teams to resolve complex issues. Proactively review financial results, monitor account health, ensure timely AR actions, and implement cost avoidance solutions while maintaining quality execution against performance expectations. Work on-site five days a week to foster in-person collaboration and drive innovation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years of Global Forwarding experience
- Account Management experience in the logistics industry or field

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
- Self-driven, results - orientated individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability
- Strong orientation towards growth, sales relationship building, negotiation, and financial acumen, developing long-term relationships with customers
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of CHRW's service portfolio, business strategies and technology systems
