Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Senior Account Handler to manage a dedicated book of business in the Real Estate and Construction sectors. Responsibilities include overseeing renewals, managing mid-term adjustments, providing informed advice, and ensuring high service standards. Candidates should have at least 3 years in commercial insurance with knowledge of General Insurance, excellent technical, client service, negotiation, and communication skills, alongside strong analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience ideally within the real estate or construction sector
- Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance
- Knowledge of the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR
- Excellent level of technical insurance skills
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent negotiation and broking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to gather and analyse information from the client
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client’s level of understanding
- Ability to persuade and influence others
