Job Summary
Own the full sales cycle for Perk Spend — from outbound prospecting and pipeline generation through discovery, multi-stakeholder demos, commercial negotiation, and close. Build net-new pipeline targeting mid-market and enterprise Finance, Procurement, and Operations leaders. Run consultative discovery to map spend workflows (T&E, AP, procurement, card programs) to Perk Spend capabilities, and navigate the buying committee (CFOs, Controllers, IT, Procurement). Develop tailored business cases and ROI narratives for financial decision-makers; collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer land. Contribute to the US GTM playbook and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting in Salesforce. This is a ground-floor Spend team role in a company with a hybrid/IRL-first work style, requiring proximity to Boston and flexibility for relocation if needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience
- Experience selling Spend Management, expense management, AP automation, procurement, ERP, or adjacent fintech/finance tech solutions
- Hunter mentality with pipeline-building in a new market
- Experience navigating complex multi-stakeholder enterprise deals where Finance or Procurement is a key buyer
- Ability to speak credibly to financial workflows and discuss spend controls, approvals, and reconciliation with CFOs/Controllers
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a competitive, complex-sale environment
- Comfort operating in an early-stage or scale-up environment
- Excellent communication skills in structuring and delivering business cases to executives (video and in-person)
- Experience with Salesforce and data-driven pipeline forecasting
- Willing to be based in or relocate to Boston, USA
- Experience in spend management or corporate card space (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) (preferred)
- Experience in tiger team/market launch/early GTM role (preferred)
- Knowledge of travel + spend intersection (preferred)
