Job Summary
Execute strategic communications plans and serve as the trusted day-to-day client contact for a portfolio of luxury hospitality and travel accounts. Draft press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials while cultivating relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure proactive coverage across national, regional, and digital outlets. Identify newsjacking opportunities, conduct competitor research, and support campaign development, partnerships, and executive visibility initiatives. Mentor junior team members and monitor media results against account goals. This role requires four to six years of agency experience in luxury travel and business/corporate sectors, with a focus on thought leadership and business pitching.
Required Qualifications
- Four to six years of public relations experience
- Experience within an agency specializing in luxury travel, business/corporate, hospitality, lifestyle industries
- Proven experience with thought leadership and business pitching, including broadcast and niche media
- Strong media relations experience with demonstrated success securing national, regional, trade, and digital coverage
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to think strategically while executing flawlessly
- Experience managing multiple clients and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of the travel and hospitality media landscape
