Job Summary
Senior Account Executive within our major clients professional indemnity team, responsible for managing a portfolio of mid to large retail PI clients (including accountants and lawyers) with a focus on day-to-day servicing, renewals and mid-term adjustments; build and maintain strong client relationships; identify and develop opportunities to grow the book; coordinate with brokers to deliver solutions; produce market submissions and negotiate terms with insurers to secure appropriate cover and pricing; ensure regulatory and internal standards are upheld; contribute to team success through collaboration and market insight.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing professional indemnity risks within the insurance market, ideally 5+ years
- Experience working with mid to large corporate or retail clients within professional services sectors
- Strong track record of handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business development
- Experience engaging directly with clients and building long-term relationships
- Knowledge of the PI market, including insurers, competitors and key territories
- Experience preparing and presenting risks to the market and negotiating terms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under pressure
- Experience operating in a client-facing role with some exposure to insurer engagement
- Cert CII or progress towards ACII is desirable
- Experience within professional indemnity insurance is essential
- Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate information clearly
- Good numeracy skills, with confidence working with pricing and financial information
