Job Summary
Conduct customer calls and offer practical solutions to increase market penetration and foster loyalty. Develop value-based relationships with customers and coworkers while researching alternate sales growth opportunities in the dealership area. Own the entire sales cycle and lead 100 Day Account strategy plans to drive engagement. Collaborate with service, parts, and sales staff to support team goals and business objectives. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Base salary of $50,000-$60,000/year with competitive commissions. Requires a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of sales experience, valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and expertise in the truck industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Automotive Tech, or related field OR 5+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or marketing role
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, with the ability to effectively convey messages and ideas
- Comfortable with prospecting and networking to solicit new business opportunities
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a disciplined approach to task management
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in using various software applications
- Exceptional customer management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience using CRM systems for account development and management
- Expertise in the transportation/truck industry
- Proven track record of high performance and achieving sales targets
- Flexibility to cater to various customer requirements and preferences
