Job Summary

Senior Account Executive II - SLED at Incode, a leader in identity verification solutions. Drive end-to-end sales across the State, Local, and Government territory by prospecting, developing relationships with senior stakeholders, and closing new business. Own the full sales pipeline, from targeted account identification to negotiation, close, and post-sale expansion. Build trusted advisor relationships with government clients, coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Product) to navigate complex multi-stakeholder deals, manage RFX submissions, and maintain accurate Salesforce data. Engage in strategic enterprise sales with experience selling SaaS/AI solutions, biometrics, and identity-related technology, and travel frequently (50%+) to customer sites, industry events, and conferences. Develop compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations for executives and contributors, stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape, and ensure high-value outcomes and long-term account growth. The role requires a BA/BS and/or 5+ years in government SaaS sales, hunter mentality, track record of high performance, CRM proficiency, and the ability to operate in a fast-growing startup environment with strong communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from a reputable University and/or 5+ years of experience in government sales
  • Experience selling SaaS/AI Solutions to public sector
  • Must have a sales “hunter” mentality and approach to building and maintaining the pipeline
  • Experience in a software or technology company in other relevant sectors such as Security, Cyber and Fraud
  • Track record of succeeding in a fast paced and competitive market with end-to-end sales ownership
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and delivering an integrated, end-to-end approach
  • Experience in consistently hitting sales targets
  • CRM software experience (e.g., Salesforce)
  • A disciplined, methodical and process-driven sales approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
