Senior Account Executive (DTC and ecommerce brands focus)

Job Summary
Senior Account Executive responsible for full-cycle quota selling Checkmate into high-growth ecommerce brands (primarily on Shopify) across apparel, beauty, home, and consumer goods. You’ll source your own pipeline, run discovery and demos, build ROI cases, and close deals typically within a short outbound-driven cycle, with deals closed in 2–3 calls over weeks and a GMV-based quota. You’ll sell the full product line (Targeting, Cashback), support onboarding, and provide product feedback to inform GTM strategy as the company scales into new verticals. The role emphasizes outbound prospecting, ROI-focused value storytelling, and collaborating with growth and ecommerce leaders (VP of Growth, CMO) to drive incremental revenue. The position requires comfort selling to growth/ecommerce leaders, proficiency in DTC economics and the common ecommerce tech stack, and the ability to operate autonomously across the sales cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years carrying a quota
- 至少 2 years selling into DTC or ecommerce brands
- Experience closing full-cycle deals for a platform/software/product bought by growth/ecommerce leaders
- Deep fluency in DTC economics (CAC, LTV, ROAS) and the tech stack brands run on (Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Meta, Google)
- Ability to build pipeline, run discovery and demos, and close deals with C-suite or senior leaders
