Job Summary
Develop and manage growth plans for major domestic, Canadian, and international accounts across RTW, swim, and outerwear divisions. Strategize seasonal assortments and drive business by analyzing weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales trends to identify opportunities. Prepare pre-season and end-of-season planning strategies, consolidate business recaps highlighting best sellers and missed opportunities, and present findings to the VP of Sales. Confirm shipping terms with leadership, ensure accurate order entry, and continuously re-forecast business while adjusting product flow and inventory management. Requires 10+ years of apparel sales experience, direct relationships with top-tier specialty stores, and on-site presence five days a week in the NYC office.
Required Qualifications
- Currently working as an Account Executive at a major NYC based fashion company
- Must be in current role for more than 4 years
- Ability to go into NYC office 5 days a week
- Possesses significant relationships across the fashion industry
- Must have current relationships with MAJOR accounts domestic, Canada, and International as well as top-tier specialty stores
- Direct relationships with major and high-level specialty store accounts in Canada and international is a must
- 10+ years of wholesale and/or retail apparel sales experience
- Buying and/or Retail or Sales management is required
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong product knowledge in women's contemporary market
- Strong retail analysis and computer skills
- Highly motivated and organized
- Strong leadership skills
- Team player mentality
- On-site opportunity (In office 5 days / week)
