Job Summary
Senior Account Executive on the Arts & Culture team with 3-4 years of experience in communications/PR in arts and culture. Based in New York, NY on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile client accounts, managing clients daily, engaging relationships with reporters, and writing/editing press materials (press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications strategies). Mentoring junior staff and collaborating with the team to meet objectives. Essential skills include sourcing and maintaining relationships with reporters, strong news sense, ability to manage multiple assignments, and clear written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in communications and/or public relations in arts and culture
- excellent writing skills
- media relations experience
- ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated relationships with reporters and strong news sense
- clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- ability to work with a team to meet objectives
- hybrid work arrangement in New York office (3 days in office per week for Real Estate team or similar)
