Job Summary
Manage underwriting and broker relationships across key renewals and new business opportunities allocated by the A&H Corporate Key Account Underwriting Manager. Build and maintain strong relationships with the broker market while attending key account broker meetings as a technical expert on performance and products. Support key account portfolio management through quarterly analysis, identifying trends and issues, and implementing actions to drive results. Review and assess individual account referrals, providing underwriting approval within authority and coordinating higher-level sign-off where required. Ensure all business is underwritten, booked, and compensated in line with established guidelines, using appropriate endorsements to maintain compliance with underwriting standards. Identify training needs and support the development of underwriters to maintain technical, service, and quality standards. Provide guidance and training to underwriting staff and distribution leaders to support A&H business profitability and growth targets. Help foster a high-performance culture through coaching and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing underwriting and broker relationships across key renewals and new business opportunities
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the broker market
- Experience supporting key account portfolio management through quarterly analysis, identifying trends and issues, and implementing actions to drive results
- Ability to attend key account broker meetings as a technical expert on performance and products
- Experience reviewing and assessing individual account referrals, providing underwriting approval within authority and coordinating higher-level sign-off where required
