Job Summary
As a Senior A&P Mechanic, you will ensure the airworthiness of helicopters, performing tasks such as reviewing maintenance requirements, communicating with the Lead Mechanic, maintaining inventory, and preparing reports. Candidates must have an FAA Mechanic Certificate, experience as a Certified Mechanic, and be able to handle pre-placement physical and background screenings. The role offers a sign-on bonus and emphasizes the importance of safety and precision in medical transport.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant
- At least 2 years of Maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic
- Basic skills in communications
- Computer skills
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening and background screen
- Sheet metal repair and/or Avionics troubleshooting/repair skills (for Roving Maintenance Team)
- Ability to travel frequently with short notice
- Ability to work night shifts when required
