Job Summary
Senior 12D Design Engineer responsible for designing and delivering civil infrastructure solutions using 12D Model with a focus on road alignment and earthworks. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to produce practical, cost-effective designs across multiple civil disciplines. Flexible location across major Australian cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth); may be based in ACCIONA offices. Deliver design models and documentation using 12D Model and AutoCAD, develop efficient modelling solutions, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to design and modelling standards across projects.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- Strong proficiency in 12D Model with experience in macro programming, snippet creation, and related skills
- Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs, particularly road alignment, within a design consultancy environment
- Solid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologies
- Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with alternative design platforms (e.g., OpenRoads) considered favorable
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and designers to deliver design and modelling standards
- Experience in earthworks, drainage and stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure design will be advantageous
