Job Summary
1:1 SEND Playworker for an after-school club in Clapham, London. Provide tailored 1:1 support to a non-verbal child with Autism, delivering engaging sensory and play-based activities, ensuring safe, inclusive participation, and supporting emotional regulation and transitions. Work closely with a team to maintain safeguarding, SEND, and Health & Safety procedures; complete incident forms and keep documentation up to date. Coordinate with families and schools for consistency, and participate in DBS checks and references as part of the hiring process. Term-time contract with 12.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday after school, with opportunities to work in holiday clubs; paid training and ongoing professional development; no weekend work.
