Job Summary
Conduct one or two seminary classes in a local seminary while completing the REL 471 Teaching Seminary Workshop, a brief teaching practicum, and student teaching. Prepare and deliver instruction in a Christ-centered, learner-focused, and scripturally based manner. Work with parents and priesthood leaders to support the rising generation, with a typical assignment of 15-20 hours per week. The student teacher experience may last from one semester up to a full academic year or longer, with decisions regarding full-time employment made by Salt Lake City administration.
