Job Summary

The Semiconductor Process Engineer/Technician will support documentation, implementation, and improvement of mechanical assembly methodologies for IR scene projector arrays, detector modules, and IC chips. Responsibilities include developing assembly processes such as die attaching and wire bonding, assisting with advanced packaging design, managing assembly project documentation, supporting semiconductor processing equipment operations, and driving cost and yield improvements. Required qualifications include semiconductor processing experience and a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Strong hands-on skills and proficiency in PC applications are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Semiconductor wafer processing experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus
  • 3+ years of cleanroom or semiconductor processing experience
  • Associate or BS in physical science/technology/engineering
  • Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or permanent resident

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of assembly processes for engineered products and packaging, especially in the Military and Aerospace industries
  • Good hands-on lab skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • PC proficiency including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
