Job Summary
Journeyperson Pipefitter responsible for installing, fabricating, and testing high-purity piping systems in semiconductor cleanrooms, with emphasis on orbital welding, high-purity tube installation, and cleanroom protocols. Performs field routing, fit-up, and alignment from P&IDs, isometric drawings, and spool sheets; adheres to SEMI, ASME B31.3, and ASTM standards; conducts leakage testing and turnover documentation; follows OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and cleanroom PPE protocols; collaborates with QA/QC and commissioning teams to meet project milestones; maintains organized work areas within ISO cleanroom classifications.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Pipefitter (Red Seal, NCCER, UA, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of high-purity or semiconductor piping experience (installation, orbital welding, tube bending)
- Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3, SEMI standards, and high-purity material handling protocols
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and P&IDs
- Proficiency in orbital welding machines, tube bending equipment, and cleanroom-compatible tools
- OSHA 30 (or equivalent) required; NCCER Plus or UA training certifications preferred
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail in controlled environments
