Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers in sustaining and advancing compound semiconductor epitaxy technologies and characterization methods; serve as materials technical lead and programs' materials point of contact; responsibilities include hiring, training, performance reviews, maintaining MBE systems and vendor relationships; ensures smooth operation of a critical NGMS semiconductor foundry node; role located in Manhattan Beach, CA with 10% travel; must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM
- Experience operating or maintaining a molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) growth system
- Knowledge of thin-film characterization techniques
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers
- Experience managing a team of 6 or more engineers
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance required
