Job Summary
Semiconductor Facilities Technician at Intel in Rio Rancho, NM. Responsibilities include sustaining operational support for Vacuum Pump and Abatement Systems, performing preventive maintenance on vacuum pumps, abatement systems, heat exchangers, and support equipment; troubleshooting system failures; applying chemical compatibility knowledge for gases and process fluids; managing code compliance related to vacuum and abatement infrastructure; assisting in developing operational procedures and engineering analysis; completing certification packages for various equipment; and fostering adaptability, independent judgment, leadership, collaboration, continuous learning, safety, problem-solving, and clear technical communication. Shift 6 nights/mid-week to Sat with alternating Saturdays; heavy on-site presence with potential extended time in protective gear; lift up to 25 lbs; walk/stand long hours. Minimum qualifications include BS STEM or associate degree STEM with 2+ years in related areas or HS Diploma/GED with 2.5+ years hands-on manufacturing experience; preferred 3+ years in preventive maintenance and equipment repair; role is an Experienced Hire with no immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- BS STEM related OR associate degree STEM and 2+ years with related Chemical and Gas Systems, Vacuum Systems, Industrial Waste, Wastewater Treatment, Facilities Maintenance, or related areas
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 2.5+ years related hands-on manufacturing experience including military experience
- Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of prior experience in Preventive maintenance programs and Equipment repair processes
