Job Summary

Diagnose equipment issues using system knowledge and technical manuals, then triage and repair semiconductor fab processing tools like evaporators, etch tools, and sputters in a cleanroom environment. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, bulk fill systems, and power supplies while supporting the Emergency Response Team as needed. Analyze tool data and implement SPC control plans to ensure uptime for various fab processing equipment. This role operates on a 1st shift 9/80 schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, plus every other Friday.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
  • 1st shift availability (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, plus every other Friday)
  • 9/80 schedule availability

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics
  • Fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations
  • Ability to document work and provide detailed pass down
  • Ability to pull and analyze tool date
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software
  • Knowledge of thin‐film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR)
  • Proficient use of MS Office products
