Job Summary
Conduct failure analysis on damaged semiconductor devices to recover data and investigate integrated circuit counterfeiting or tampering. Develop novel capabilities by designing new test and evaluation procedures, performing iterative testing, and preparing silicon wafers, chips, or packages through physical and chemical means. Utilize Scanning Electron Microscopes or Focused Ion Beams for imaging and maintain strict technical documentation. Requires 10+ years of experience in semiconductor fabrication, CMOS design, or validation testing, plus a Bachelor's degree and Top Secret clearance. Full-time role with a projected salary range of $86,800 to $198,000.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with the design, fabrication, or validation testing of semiconductor processes and CMOS design or Failure Analysis
- Experience working in an electronics lab developing new test and evaluation procedures and conducting iterative testing
- Experience with silicon wafer, chip, or package sample prep through physical and chemical means
- Experience in imaging with the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) or Focused Ion Beam (FIB)
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
