Job Summary
Inspect, service, and repair company-owned trailers by removing and replacing subframe assemblies, designated airlines, crossmembers, axle hub assemblies, mud flap brackets, dolly leg assemblies, flooring, doors, and door gaskets. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and install exterior components such as vents and manifest boxes. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with team members. Requires proven experience diagnosing and repairing semi-trailers, proficiency with basic hand tools, and strong troubleshooting skills. Full-time on-site role Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 4:00pm with rotating Saturday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trailers
- Strong knowledge of Semi-Trailers
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Rotating Saturday availability required
