Job Summary
Supervisor for Regional Operations oversees the eastern district MISS DIG and collections field personnel, directing line locating, collections (hangs and shuts), and emergency response with compliance to Act 174. Responsibilities include supervising daily field operations, ensuring work is completed within budget, on schedule, and with quality; developing departmental goals and procedures; enforcing internal controls; coaching and developing staff; preparing regional reports; coordinating with contractors and vendors to uphold safety, compliance, efficiency, and financial parameters; administering safety programs; and serving on-call in the Eastern Supervisor On-Call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, and/or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three to five years of related work experience
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the construction and maintenance of natural gas transmission and distribution systems and related equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in order to lead effectively
- Good working knowledge of computer business software applications used by the Company and ability to learn new applications
