Selling Event Specialist (Part Time)

Job Summary
Present and sample Boar's Head Brand delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores. Educate shoppers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary items while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude. Transport and set up folding tables, utensils, and platters; operate a slicer with provided training. Travel to different retail locations within your assigned area using your own transportation. Work in refrigerated or freezer environments, standing for minimum four hours per shift. Maintain a neat work area and adhere to strict food safety and sanitation practices. Own internet-enabled cell phone required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three months of experience in a customer service or similar role
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a slicer
- Must have own transportation
- Willingness to travel to different retail locations within assigned area
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environment
- Must have an internet-enabled cell phone
