Job Summary
Selling Branch Manager leads a Vermont equipment dealership location, overseeing daily branch operations and a small team of inside staff and outside road technicians while actively selling agricultural and CASE construction equipment. Responsible for developing customer relationships, driving equipment sales, and growing revenue within the territory; works in the field with customers and coordinates sales, service, rentals, and support, with a focus on farmers, contractors, municipalities, and commercial customers. Key duties include preparing quotes, structuring deals, closing equipment sales, coordinating with financing partners, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed branch revenue goals; requires leadership, relationship-building, and hands-on sales capability in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural equipment, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or related sales preferred
- Leadership or management experience preferred, especially in a small-team environment
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both in the office and in the field with customers
- Understanding equipment financing, quoting, and deal structure is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment service operations beneficial
- Strong communication and organizational skills
