Job Summary
Selling and Support Captain responsible for leading colleagues in customer service, merchandising, and executing store tasks to deliver exceptional customer experiences in Bend, OR. Role involves driving results through promotional and Omni selling initiatives, role-modeling customer-first behavior, educating colleagues on POS technology and applications, promoting the Macy's mobile app, and collaborating with People Leaders to plan store activities. The position emphasizes standard-merchandising adherence, problem-solving to resolve customer issues, and fostering an inclusive, respectful environment. Advancement opportunities include Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager. Essential duties may include supervising the selling floor, processing new products, providing fast feedback to improve customer experiences, performing opening/closing procedures, and facilitating effective communication with customers and team members. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of retail experience preferred, and the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
