Job Summary
Selling and Service Assistant (SSA) at Hermès Chicago Boutique responsible for clerical transactions, CRM data entry, stock replenishment, merchandising, and after-sales support in a luxury retail environment. Duties include recording POS transactions, processing sales, assisting with opening/closing procedures, maintaining CRM purchase history and client records, assisting sales teams with merchandising and stock organization, preparing stock room, handling packaging, and providing high-level client service. Requires strong communication, cash handling experience, multi-tasking, and attention to detail in a luxury setting. Hourly range $22.00-$25.00 with benefits and opportunities for incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience, in a luxury environment preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with POS and/or cash handling strongly preferred
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult situations with grace, compassion and composure
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance
