Job Summary
Collaborate with business teams to resolve client issues, execute transactions, and manage property throughout the sale cycle. Ensure all legal and compliance documentation, including W8/9 forms and export licenses, is on file and resolve outstanding compliance issues according to catalog deadlines. Liaise with clients, shipping coordinators, and regional offices to facilitate inbound shipments, arrange customs clearance, and coordinate property movement for authentication, restoration, and photography. Manage consignment agreements, generate SAP contracts, track IC disclosures, and set reserves in systems. Review presale compliance reports, prepare lot cards for exhibition, and coordinate post-auction transactions, account adjustments, and unsold property returns. Process missed reserves, follow pending payments, and facilitate compliant private sales including contract preparation and logistics. Monitor House Property and Temporary Admission (TA) property quarterly while supporting the Inactive Inventory Initiative to meet targets.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in business administration or equivalent field
- At least 1-3+ years' experience in business administration and/or client service
- Exceptional client service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competencies in legal, finance and/or project management
- Operationally minded
- Appetite for technology
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage challenging deadlines
