Self Sufficiency Coordinator

Job Summary

Coordinate scheduling for self-sufficiency programs, workshops, job fairs, and training sessions while managing participant registration, attendance tracking, and case-related records. Prepare program materials, supplies, and facility needs to support staff, volunteers, employers, and community partners during events. Assist residents in accessing employment, education, financial capability, and entrepreneurship resources through workshops, coaching sessions, and resource fairs. Conduct follow-up communications to encourage engagement and achievement of individualized goals, while tracking program outcomes for internal monitoring and grant reporting. Maintain digital and physical records in accordance with agency policies and confidentiality requirements. Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting documentation for program evaluation and continuous improvement. Serve as a point of contact for resident and partner inquiries, coordinate logistics with workforce agencies and educational institutions, and provide administrative support to the Resident Services Manager. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, Public Administration, Education, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field or equivalent combination of education + experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience coordinating programs related to workforce development, employment services, financial empowerment, case management, education, housing, or human services
  • Demonstrated experience with program design, implementation, tracking/outcome measurement and partnership building
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills; ability to engage diverse family populations
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
  • Valid Ohio driver license and insurability with AMHA policies, reliable transportation for travel to program sites, community partners in Summit County and surrounding area
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital tools
  • Ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks
  • Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
