Job Summary
Lead daily operations at self-storage facilities by providing customer service, assisting with rental processes, and building relationships to exceed sales targets for unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies. Manage cash handling including balancing receipts and overseeing deposits, while maintaining facility cleanliness through general maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members across locations, run errands to different stores, and respond promptly to communications. Ensure work assignments are completed efficiently while managing processes to support collective success. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience in customer-facing roles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience
- Proficient in computer systems
- Minimum typing speed of 35+ WPM
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Detail-oriented
- Organized
- Capable of multitasking
- Strong manual dexterity
- Communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working seated at a desk or standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with the local community and services
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
- Successful completion of background check
- Ability to provide three professional references
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while performing computer-related tasks
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to twist and walk over one mile per day
- Must be available for occasional Saturdays
