Job Summary
Conduct daily sales and customer service at an Aesop self-service location, serving as the primary point of contact for individual customers and body shops. Provide pricing, product information, and lead time updates while managing existing orders and following up on quotes via preferred communication channels. Enter orders correctly within the system, maintain the CRM database accurately, and handle all COD collections and warranty/return follow-ups. Obtain credit information for prospective customers, report all verbal and written communications to the Sales Manager daily, and work the sales phone cue. Work Friday through Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with occasional overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Reacts well and positively under pressure while showing courage and taking action
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word
- Aptitude to learn new systems and software
- Ability to operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and cell phones
- Must be able to work collaboratively across functions
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the workday
- Occasionally move about facility
- Ability to use both hands regularly with enough dexterity to complete essential functions
- Occasionally lift, move, and carry objects and materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work occasional overtime as needed
