Job Summary
Provide supervision, training, and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living for a 18 year old female, including self-care, social, recreation, community, and domestic skills. Offer verbal reminders for household responsibilities, after school care, swimming, general care, and assistance with feedings and personal care. Maintain a valid New York State driver's license and a vehicle, as travel by automobile is required. Perform duties while lifting 50 pounds and adhering to OSHA Category 1 safety protocols regarding blood or body fluid exposure. Work per diem Monday through Friday, including mornings, evenings, and some weekends, at a rate of $18-$20 per hour. Must be able to lift, transfer, and move at least 50 lbs and demonstrate effective verbal and written communications skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Training in all required trainings within 90 days of being hired
- Current certifications with all required trainings
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move at least 50 lbs
