Job Summary
Provide supervision, training, and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living, including self-care, social, recreation, community, and domestic skills for a 33-year-old female with developmental delays and active monthly seizures. Help her reach simple goals through arts and crafts, music, games, puzzles, and cooking while managing equipment like a walker, stander, and wedge. Transport her to community events in a wheelchair van, assisting with transfers and personal hygiene as required. Maintain a valid New York State driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are essential. Work part-time Monday through Friday with Saturday inclusion and Sunday evenings in Macedon, NY, earning $21–$25 per hour. Applicants must complete required trainings within 90 days and reside at a different address than the supported individual.
