Job Summary
Coordinate the creation, issuing, processing, and tracking of Self-Determination agreements while maintaining complete and compliant records. Assist with budget formulation to ensure Medicaid compliance and alignment with person-centered planning, and oversee provider qualification tracking, orientation scheduling, and EOR meetings. Serve as the liaison between Monroe CMH staff, treatment providers, FMS vendors, PIHP representatives, and MDHHS, reviewing agreements for regulatory adherence and leading preparation for state, federal, and MDHHS audits. Develop training protocols and informational materials for consumers, families, and EORs regarding SD principles and service delivery options. Prepare reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders, analyze performance data to recommend system improvements, and implement quality assurance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public or business administration, social services, or a closely related field
- Four (4) years of progressive administrative experience within a CMH or publicly funded agency
- Two (2) years of experience with contract management or agreements
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing CMHSPs, MDHHS, PIHPs, and Medicaid
- Knowledge of MDHHS Self-Determination policies, Behavioral Health Code Chart, and provider qualification standards
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, regulations, and procedural requirements
- Skills in research, data analysis, and report preparation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and deliver training and instructional materials
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records systems
- Ability to work in a complex, detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Driving record acceptable to the Authority's insurance carrier
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through telehealth technologies
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to hear
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs
