Self Contained Special Education Teacher - Surprise, AZ

Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students in your care. Prepare detailed lesson plans for submission to administrators and communicate regularly with staff and family members regarding student progress. Participate in scheduled IEP meetings and confer with on-site therapists regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues. Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student development while maintaining a safe, productive classroom environment. Draft and distribute quarterly progress reports. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, Arizona teaching licensure, and a Special Education certificate. Pediatric Developmental Services partners with public school districts and charter schools to provide highly qualified teachers and therapists.
