Job Summary
Self Contained Elementary Special Education Teacher for the REACH program in Fall River Public School System. Responsible for delivering instruction and support services aligned with individual education plans (IEP) and 504 plans; perform diagnostic assessments with the Evaluation TEAM Chairperson and collaborate with Regular Education and Special Education staff to meet the needs of students with special needs; participate in TEAM meetings and annual reviews, administer educational assessments, assist in developing and implementing educational plans, ensure timely implementation, communicate with parents, and maintain required records. Strong collaboration, culturally responsive teaching, and standards-based instruction across MA Curricula are essential; experience with information literacy, technology integration, and 21st Century Skills is preferred. Salary range $59,491-$105,164; terms of employment per district contract.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university
- Appropriate Valid Massachusetts license, K-12 teaching experience
