Job Summary
Self-Checkout Host at Sprouts Farmers Market responsible for delivering exceptional customer service at self-checkout stations, overseeing self-checkout units, assisting customers with scanning, weighing, bagging and paying for items, handling multiple customers, addressing scanning/payment issues, ensuring accuracy of scanning, inviting customers to use self-checkout lanes, maintaining knowledge of weekly ads and promotions, keeping self-checkout areas clean, and performing related duties as assigned. Requires 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED, retail/cashier experience preferred, ability to operate front-end equipment, strong numerical and cash-handling skills, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age

- 1-2 years of cashier experience preferred
- Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment preferred
- Ability to operate front end equipment (register, calculator, scanner)
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and math skills
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move carts as described
