Job Summary
Oversee self-checkout units by assisting customers with scanning, weighing, bagging, and payment while monitoring activity for accuracy. Serve multiple customers simultaneously, anticipate issues like large items or scanning errors, and answer questions regarding promotions or product locations. Maintain clean and orderly self-checkout areas, thank departing customers, and invite shoppers to use available lanes. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, lifting up to 30 lbs and pushing carts as needed. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- previous experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment
- 1-2 years of cashier experience
