Job Summary
Monitor self-checkout transactions to protect inventory by observing for irregularities, ensuring customers scan and bag items correctly, and responding promptly to Point-of-Sale alerts. Intervene when necessary to verify accuracy, address potential fraud, and report incidents of theft or equipment malfunctions to store leadership. Provide proactive customer assistance by educating shoppers on the process, greeting them courteously, and managing lane traffic to maintain a positive shopping environment. Keep the work area clean and stocked by sanitizing equipment, returning carts, and replenishing supplies. Requires high school education, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 250 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform job functions
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High standard of integrity and reliability
- Basic computer skills required to participate in online training
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- 0-3 yrs minimum Supervisory Experience
