Job Summary
Monitor self-checkout transactions to prevent inventory loss by observing for irregularities, ensuring customers scan and bag items correctly, and responding promptly to Point-of-Sale alerts. Provide exceptional customer service by educating shoppers on the process, greeting guests with a friendly smile, and assisting those who need help scanning products. Intervene with appropriate responses when necessary to address potential issues or suspicious activities while maintaining a positive shopping environment. Keep the work area clean and stocked with supplies, sanitizing equipment during downtime, and returning carts to the corral. Report incidents of theft, suspicious behavior, or equipment malfunctions to store leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform job functions
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High standard of integrity and reliability
- Basic computer skills required to participate in online training
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- 0-3 yrs minimum
