Job Summary
Monitor self-checkout transactions to prevent inventory loss by observing for irregularities, ensuring accurate scanning and bagging, and responding promptly to Point-of-Sale alerts. Intervene with customers to verify scanned items, address inquiries, and guide them through the process while maintaining a positive shopping environment. Report incidents of theft, suspicious behavior, or equipment malfunctions to store leadership. Keep the work area clean, orderly, and stocked with necessary supplies, sanitizing equipment as needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform job functions
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High standard of integrity and reliability
- Basic computer skills required to participate in online training
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- 0-3 yrs minimum
