Selector - Shipping

Job Summary
Selector in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse selects product from pick tickets, operates forklifts and pallet jacks, identifies and selects cases, palletizes, wraps and scans orders using FIFO, and transports products to the shipping area. Duties include safe handling, maintaining product integrity, returning undelivered/mis-picked items, and meeting time requirements. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM to finish, with extended hours and holidays as needed. Must be 18+, able to read/write/Speak English to perform tasks, and have warehouse experience with powered equipment (forklifts, electric pallet jacks). CK31/CK71 scanner familiarity is a plus; SQF certification is preferred. Benefits and equal opportunity employer information are provided. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform tasks including reading labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, and communicating with management and co-workers
- Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector
- Experience operating powered equipment including electric pallet jacks and forklifts
- Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanners a plus
- SQF certification preferred
- Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments (0 to 36 degrees)
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Attend to safety rules and company attendance policy
