Job Summary
Read orders and numerical codes to identify items for picking from three-level lines, then confirm selections using the Lydia voice system. Handle items weighing up to 2 pounds, occasionally lifting 25-50 pounds, and place products into totes while banding like items. Notify line starters of shortages, push totes to the next selector, and mark materials with identifying information. Confirm completed orders by keying data into the computer database or voice system to meet productivity and accuracy standards. Perform general housekeeping and complete other assigned tasks during a four-day, 10-hour shift from 6am to 4:30pm with Saturdays required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions
- Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand in simple English
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be punctual
- Must be team-oriented
- Must be committed to safety
- Must be enthusiastic
- Must be willing to learn
- Must be available for Saturdays
- Must be able to handle items weighing up to 2 pounds
