Job Summary
Conduct accurate picking and assembling of orders using a Vocollect Voice headset while maintaining balanced pallet loads and FIFO systems. Ensure product integrity, temperature controls, and safe stacking for outbound transportation. Collaborate across departments to uphold Safe Quality Food protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Remove packaging and pallets after daily pickups. This pay-by-piece position offers an initial rate of $18.75 per hour during training, with subsequent pay dependent on productivity and volume.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift 50/80 pounds regularly
- The ability to work for periods of time in cooler and freezer
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
Desired Qualifications
- Related work experience in distribution and warehousing food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with Vocollect Voice
- Ability to operate Warehouse Equipment, electric pallet, pallet rider and or forklift
